Trident Net's Multi-user Routed Connections
enable the small to medium sized business to connect their existing Ethernet
based Local Area Network (LAN) to the Internet. All our routed solutions
will support up to 250 PC's or Macintosh computers on the network,
although it is generally recommended that ISDN is only used for up to
25 PC's or Macintosh computers. For numbers greater than 25 Trident Net
recommends that you consider moving to a dedicated leased line.
Multi-user routed connections require a LAN to have an ISDN router
on the network. Trident Net can supply a full range of ISDN routers
configured and fitted.
The service also provides SMTP mail delivery and
is ideally suited for use with Microsoft Small Business Server.
Routed ISDN Connection enables more than one computer on an Ethernet
network to share a single ISDN Internet link. A full Ethernet
Router device connects the LAN with a 10Mbs Ethernet connection
to individual PC's or Mac's. Routers are able to fully utilise
a fast dual channel 128kbps connection.
